If you would like a copy of the list of delinquent properties, please put your request in writing in February of every year, along with a self addressed stamped envelope. Tax Sale for delinquent property owners is held once a year, normally March-April, and is advertised for four weeks prior to the sale date in the local newspaper. Postmark is not accepted as a payment date, but rather when the payment is received in the office. There is a ten day grace period given for each installment. The payments are due quarterly - February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1. The breakdown of each tax is shown on the upper portion of your tax bill each year. Your payment includes not only a payment for the local Municipal Tax but County Tax, County Library Tax, County Health Tax, County Open Space Tax, District School Tax and Regional School Tax as well.
